These are stories that have been plotted out, just not written out quite yet. Blood Lights and its prequels are fractured fairy tales stitched together into one story (Rumplestiltskin, Rose Red, Cinderella, etc.)...whereas The Hundred-Year War takes place in a quasi-dystopian world run by genetically altered/augmented humans. So far it's the only practical application of a lot of three and four hundred level science courses from college.
